About the Teacher
Michelle Danner has coached actors such as: Penelope Cruz, Salma Hayek, Zooey Deschanel, Kelly Hu, Marcia Cross, Christian Slater, Gavin Rossdale, Rick Fox, James Franco, Rob Estes, Michael Pena, Catherine Bell, Justine Wadell, Justin Chatwin, Gabrielle Union, Isla Fisher, Brian McKnight, Common, Sally Kellerman and many more, both privately and on-set. She has trained personally with Stella Adler, Uta Hagen, and Bill Esper and has been LARRY MOSS'S partner for 18 years.
She has directed and acted in over thirty plays in New York and Los Angeles. In 2006 she made her feature film-directing debut How to go Out on a Date in Queens which was nominated and won four LA Film Awards including Best Director. It starred Jason Alexander, Esai Morales, Ron Perlman, Kimberly Williams, Rob Estes, Alison Eastwood Christine Dunford, and Brian Drillinger.
Michelle is in preproduction for several film projects that will shoot in 2009. She is the founder and Executive Artistic Director of Edgemar Center for the Arts and The Edgemar Theatre Group.
