Matthew Bonifacio is an award-winning director/writer/producer and Film Independent Spirit Award Nominee (John Cassavetes Award) from Brooklyn, New York. His work includes numerous short films, commercials, music videos, and the feature films “Lbs.” (Sundance Film Festival), “Amexicano” (Tribeca Film Festival), and “The Quitter” (PBS, Hulu). All three feature films were theatrically released and critically acclaimed by The New York Times and others. His short “Master Maggie” (Apple TV), starring Lorraine Bracco, Kenan Thompson, and Brian Dennehy, Oscar-qualified for the 92nd Academy Awards. Matthew was the lead writer of the MyCareer story mode for the “NBA 2K 21” video game, which starred Djimon Hounsou, Michael Kenneth Williams, Mireille Enos, Jesse Williams, and Britt Lower. Matthew is recognized as one of the top on-camera acting coaches in New York City, has taught and guest lectured at Pace University and NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, has worked as an on-set coach for Paramount Pictures, and is the resident private acting coach at One on One NYC.
