FORMAT

Class and Session length are dependent upon the discretion of the casting director, agent or manager.

One on One will always strive to present the most current, accurate information on an industry professional’s current projects and affiliations. However, it is the nature of the industry that casting professionals are freelance workers and jump from project to project + office to office on a regular basis. There may be certain situations where a casting professional restricts us on what we are able to reveal in marketing for their class.

One on One highly encourages members to do research on an industry professionals credits, previous projects, and experience and utilize that information as a basis for signing up for a class.

CLASS VIDEOS
While One on One is proud to uniquely offer a video of your in-class work, occasionally technical difficulties do occur, and as a result, you may not receive a video for that particular event. We try our best to get your video links to you in a clear and timely manner, but we are not to be held responsible for events that may disrupt our ability to do so. These videos are provided as a courtesy, and we hope that you use them as a tool for reviewing your work.

It is not permitted for our members to post their class video recordings on the internet. We will contact you and ask you to take videos down that have been posted anywhere on the internet and have the right to terminate your membership if you do not comply. Our Casting Director instructors often assign material from TV episodes or films that have yet to have been released, and have to deal with serious repercussions when material ends up on Youtube that shouldn’t be there. Please be respectful and smart about your video footage, and use it only for your personal educational use.

Please note: Although on-camera classes are recorded, sometimes technical issues do occur. As that is the case, we consider the videos to be a courtesy and not a guaranteed result of taking class. Thank you for your understanding.

READERS
One on One NYC / Next Level Studios LA will provide a reader from our carefully screened reader list for any event that requires one. Members are NOT allowed under any circumstance to bring their own reader. This applies to any event, whether in-person or online.

NATURE OF ARTISTIC & PROFESSIONAL TRAINING
One on One is proud to offer our membership access to artistic, professional, & networking opportunity via our roster of industry professionals & instructors. Professional artistic training in a classroom setting is inherently “an art” and not a mathematical science. With the goal of advancing every student in their professional development, instructors are given leeway and discretion to tailor their adjustments/feedback to the individual student.

Both One on One & our industry instructors provide every student opportunity/growth with an emphasis on quality over quantity: One on One will NOT credit you for reasons such as “another actor’s assigned scene was longer than mine” or “another actor was asked to do their scene more times than myself”.

One on One believes in the value of actors receiving honest, direct, & sometimes blunt feedback from industry professionals on the competitiveness of their work & presentation. One on One will NOT credit you if you disagree with an instructor’s feedback or find it to be overly critical.

If a member displays that they are not ready to receive real-world feedback from the industry, One on One management reserves the right to revoke your membership.

CLASS LENGTH
One on One NYC / Next Level Studios LA allows each of our industry instructors to run their classes with professional discretionary liberty regarding length & duration of class (within the boundaries set by the studio). As professional artistic training in a classroom setting is “an art” and not a mathematical science, we do not set a minimum or maximum amount of time for the length of the class. Class length can vary not only by the individual instructor but can also be affected by numerous factors including scene work, student questions, as well as absentees.

PREFERRED CONTACT METHOD
As an administrative courtesy, One on One will obtain the instructor’s “preferred contact method” and provide it to students via the class page at the conclusion of class. One on One events are for educational purposes only. While networking & professional relationships can naturally arise, on-going access to the instructor is NOT a guaranteed part of the experience.

It is up to the discretion of the industry instructor to provide a preferred contact method. They may opt not to provide a follow up contact method. Communication & access to the instructor after the conclusion of the class is not guaranteed, arranged, or included by One on One when you sign up for an event.

PRICING
One On One employs a Flexible Pricing system for all of our classes, sessions, and intensives. This means that a class price may change to respond to the demands of our consumers. In general, prices will be raised as we approach the event date, so it’s in the actors’ best interest to sign up for an event as early as possible. One on One will NOT credit you due to price changes made for a class you are signed up for.
